ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
AUDIOBOOKS for "THE BLUE COLLAR ACTOR"
Audiobook production is a time-consuming process, and your pay rate ultimately is determined by your level of efficiency in both recording and editing. Audiobooks for the Blue Collar Actor is designed to help you wear your “actor hat” and “producer hat” simultaneously, edit and pick up lines on the fly, and walk away with the biggest paycheck per working hour possible. The class will feature live direction of your audiobook reads and hands-on practice with “Punch’n’Roll” recording and editing in Audacity.
Tim Alexander is a Blue Collar voice actor that built the foundation of his career brick by brick on audiobooks and e-learning. In four years, he has added almost 200 credits to his CV, and brings an approach to the industry that combines the fun of creating art with the focused business mindset to pay the bills. Now he is using his experience teaching courses to spread the best-practices he has learned to voice actors looking to enhance and refine their craft.
Bill Holmes is The Voiceover Doctor! For over 35 years, Bill has been working in film, television, theatre, comedy, and advertising. During that time has been part of the voiceover world as an actor/director/producer/teacher. He has solidified himself as one of the top acting coaches of the highest regard and he is proud of the incredible percentage of his students that have gone on to have successful careers in the voiceover community. The Doc is now teaming up with Tim Alexander and is tackling the audiobooks world to help you have a better understanding of the business.
